Evaporator is an important part in extraction workshop,it removes solvent from miscella to improve concentration of miscella.

  

Working principle of evaporator :

 

Solvent of mixed oil is vaporized by heating,thus oil concentration of mixed oil is improved, i.e. volatile solvent is separated from nonvolatile matters.As for choice of evaporation system,long-pipe evaporator(also named raising film evaporator) is widely used to oil plants.

 

Evaporation process:

 

Miscella enters from the bottom of heating chamber,after it enters heating pipes,it boils because of heating and vaporizes rapidly;steam rises rapidly in pipes, solvent also rises with steam, it is carried by secondary steam and upflow along pipes.Then solvent and steam separates.
